Slovenia is among the first markets where the Coca-Cola HBC Group has introduced the Costa Coffee brand.
This entry into the coffee category aligns with Coca-Cola HBC's vision to become the leading beverage partner for any time of day and any occasion.
Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia was among the first in the Coca-Cola HBC Group to introduce the Costa Coffee product range across retail, foodservice, and on-the-go segments. By entering the coffee category, Coca-Cola HBC reaffirms its commitment to becoming the leading beverage partner for any time of day and any occasion, providing customers and consumers with the best, widest, and most flexible range of products.
Ruža Tomić Fontana, CEO of Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia, states: "Coffee is a key category that will helps us become the leading partner in beverage sales for any time of the day and any occasion. By including a strong brand like Costa Coffee in our portfolio, we aim to provide our customers with a best-in-class experience and become their preferred partner. Thanks to our extensive experience and knowledge, as well as our dedicated employees, we are excited to fully embrace this opportunity."
After The Coca-Cola Company acquired Costa Coffee in August 2018, Coca-Cola HBC became the first bottler in the Coca-Cola system to launch the brand across its 28 markets.
Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia will offer a wide range of Costa Coffee blends and formats, including roasted coffee beans, ground coffee, and capsules, to cater to diverse customer and consumer preferences. The brand's introduction to the Slovenian market will initially target the retail, foodservice, and on-the-go segments. At present, Coca-Cola HBC Slovenia has no plans to open a Costa Coffee shop in its market.
