Stijepan Petrović has been appointed Coffee & Premium Spirits Business Director at Coca-Cola HBC Adria, succeeding Filip Verbanac, who is taking on the role of Business Development Lead for Spirits at Coca-Cola HBC Group.

Stijepan joined Coca-Cola HBC Croatia in 2010 as a Sales Team Leader and has since held a number of managerial positions in sales and business transformation. For the past two years, he has served as Transformation Lead for the Adria business unit, where he oversaw the implementation of initiatives focused on simplifying operations and increasing process efficiency. His extensive experience and track record in sales and business development will be instrumental in further strengthening the coffee and premium spirits portfolio - an area of strategic importance for Coca-Cola HBC Adria.

Stijepan

I am truly delighted to join a team of outstanding professionals who have achieved remarkable results in the premium spirits segment over the past fifteen years. The strength of our brands, from Jack Daniel’s, Finlandia, Grey Goose, Gin Mare, The Macallan, Rémy Martin and others to Costa Coffee and Caffè Vergnano, gives us confidence in continued strong growth and even greater business success. I believe we will achieve outstanding results both with our existing portfolio and with new brands we bring to market, raising the bar across all sales channels together with our customers and meeting consumer needs 24/7. Most importantly, we will continue to develop leaders along the way who will shape our future success and strengthen our presence across all markets

Filip Verbanac, who has led the Coffee & Premium Spirits division in the Adria region since 2020, is moving into the role of Business Development Lead for Spirits at Coca-Cola HBC Group. In his new capacity, he will be responsible for driving the performance of the category across markets serving more than 500 million consumers, including countries such as Italy and Nigeria. He will also oversee all portfolio expansion projects within the spirits category across all Coca-Cola HBC’s 29 markets.

Filip Verbanac

This is an exceptional professional challenge for me, particularly as I began my career in Croatia and have gained experience across Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, and Slovenia. I now have the opportunity to apply that knowledge and experience to support Coca-Cola HBC Group’s growth in much larger and more complex markets. I also see this as strong recognition of the way we collaborate with the hospitality sector in our region and the excellence we strive for in every part of our business

He also founded the regional Raise the Bar initiative, the largest hospitality support program in the region, which he will continue to lead as part of his new Group role.
